I've never had a coil fail me yet. Very consistant and a lot cheaper and easier to find than going into servive station, where i used to buy them from. I'm a heavy vaper so one of these coils would usually last me about 4 days before they start to lose their effectiveness. Also they’re quite a bit cheaper than using the Multivape ones which are identical.

They last about a week in my K2 - not sure if that is good but for the price (compared to other vendors on here and the stores) it's half the price. I checked the scratch code on one of the boxes and got this message: 错误。处理你的请求时出错。- which according to Google Translate means "Error。 An error occurred while processing your request." Gut feel - they are genuine and the aspirecig.com site is not working the way they intended it to (customer service from Chinese companies is not up to the standards we are used to in the UK and way below US levels). UPDATE: Coils are genuine - use the Product Verification box on the right at the bottom of aspirecig.com and NOT the New Verification System to the left at the bottom.

I've been vaping for a couple of years now and I've tried more vapourisers and coils than I care to think about. I've used the old CE wick type and have recently moved on to an Aspire Triton mini for everyday use and an Aspire K1 for a cheeky bit of stealth vaping. For info, the Triton Mini is NO good whatsoever for stealth vaping as the clouds are too fierce :-). Anyway, I digress and this review is about the Aspire BVC coils so I'll move on. Aspire seem to have got everything right recently and most of their current product offerings are near to perfect. The BVC New Design coils fit into the 'nearly' perfect camp as they're brilliant in the first couple of days but then they have a tendency to suffer with the annoying phenomenon known as 'vape bubbling'. This tends to happen when the tank/clearomiser has been put down for an hour or more (especially overnight) and you end up with a drop or two of juice on your tongue or lips which Im sure you'll agree is very unpleasant, to put it mildly. Out comes the rolled up tissue and down the pipe it goes to soak up the excess liquid and so it goes on. I've found that after soaking up the juice it helps to tip the clearomiser downwards a little and then burn off the juice in the coil. Follow this with another dip into the pipe with the tissue and you're good to go. The BVC coils are great though and they certainly give a very satisfying draw. I'd highly recommend that you use these with a VV battery though otherwise you might be left drawing more air than vape if your battery is underpowered. I also think that they need quite a high voltage to burn off the juice sufficiently to avoid the 'bubbling'. All in all I'm very impressed with these coils and despite the loss of a star for the aforementioned issue they're an essential purchase for my K1. Each coil lasts me about a week and for £1.20 a pop I don't think that's too bad really. There are plenty of Amazon sellers too with Prime delivery and if you shop around you can buy a pack of these for under £6 (as at 20/5/16). Apart from the liquid (obviously), for those of us who vape the thing which needs replaced most often is the coil. We are ll therefore looking for coils which work properly and are reasonably priced. A quick look on Amazon reveals many different 1.8 ohm coils at a variety of prices and all with varying reviews. I look for something which provides a good experience at a reasonable price. These coils do that. In use they do not taint the flavour, they work properly and last at least a week (I am a fairly heavy vaper). They are priced reasonably and so meet all my needs, so I have stuck with them for several months and intend to continue to do so.
